From FF&E to Shipyard
How Robles Sphère's interior design furniture can meet naval architecture
Robles Sphère had the privilege of collaborating with Oliver Design on a turnkey project that involved manufacturing, constructing, and installing common areas and officer's cabins for the innovative first electric ferry in Spain. The project was tailored to meet the specific requirements of our partners, and we are proud to have delivered it successfully.
Working with such a professional team has been an absolute pleasure and honor. Oliver Design, a leading company in the naval architecture industry since 1964, has always been a reference in this sector, and their commitment to the project is a testament of professionalism and experience related to the shipyard industry
Robles Sphère's Daring Move Toward International Expansion
The big players in this industry differentiate themselves by taking risks and venturing through uncharted waters. This new globalized furniture sector demands more and more added value in each product or service you could have in mind, and it is difficult for companies to stay current and satisfy the wishes of their customers. There is where international expansion comes into the game, and this collaboration with Oliver's Design is part of the strategy of Robles Sphère to reach that aim.
Our move into the world of marine furniture design is a significant step for Robles Sphère. We are thrilled to be making our mark in this marvelous industry, and we believe that this move will help us expand our client portfolio significantly. By reaching a whole new client base, we are confident that we can offer more value to our customers and continue to grow as a company.
From FF&E to Shipyard
It was an enjoyable experience to deliver this project, our expertise working with FF&E for so many years, allowed us to overcome any obstacle we encountered.
We had the opportunity to work in many different areas such as; the terrace Bar, the Dj cabin, the food court, the crew cabin, and the bridge. Each furnishing piece was crafted with the highest care by our skilled workforce in the factory. We used only the best quality materials in manufacturing and assembling the furniture, working with metal structures, porcelain tile, wooden panels, and Krion (Porcelanosa), which gave the appearance of a solid surface while being moldable to the furniture's design.
In addition, Robles Sphère had the privilege of delivering the equipment required to make the areas operational for use. This included everything from installing the lighting system and the roller blinds to meticulously fitting every single detail necessary to ensure the counters were perfectly tuned.
We are immensely proud of our commitment to delivering exceptional quality and craftsmanship, and this project was no exception. The feedback we received from our partners was incredible, which is a testament to our dedication to creating functional and expressive furniture that represents contemporary culture, quality, and expertise in the sector. Once again, we have demonstrated that there are no limits to what we can achieve when we work together as a team.
